I have a creative Zen xtra and its a pretty good player, if a little on
the big side. I believe they stopped selling them, but creative came out
with the touch and M and other players. On linux, you can download gnomad 
(http://gnomad2.sourceforge.net/). I am not sure about anything for kde,
but they probably exist.
