Re: [PLUG] LAMP development framework


Thanks for all the advice. A few people have mentioned "Rails" - I assume they are talking about Ruby on Rails which I have heard about but have no idea what exactly that kit gives you. What is Rails exactly? Is it a brand name for a Ruby based development framework tool? Is it a methodology like MVC?

You could look at CakePHP, it's essentially "PHP-on-rails".
