Bill Patterson (patterson@computer.org) had this to say on 08/02/06 at 18:28: > I have a laptop dualbooting Windows and Ubuntu. I'm trying to put > Windows drivers for my wifi on to the Ubuntu side. There are 89 *.cab > files on my HP dv1000 laptop. Does anyone know how to narrow the search > so I can find the driver to port to Ubuntu to wrap with ndiswrapper? > Thanks. Easiest to just download the Windows driver to a separate directory, and point ndisgtk at that folder. A driver install on Windows is more than just .cab files. ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
