Re: [PLUG] Computer Case recommendations?

Mac Mini? It only has one hard drive and Intel graphics, but it's
pretty respectible power in a very very tiny case. And, of course,
you can blow away Mac OS and just put Windows and Linux on it.
Thanks,

Hi All
A bit off topic but here goes..
I would like to build a new computer with my young son 11. This will be a nice father/son thing also will teach him a bit how all this stuff works..
The reason for my query is this..
I don't have much desk space and I want to have the computer case take up as little real-estate as possible..Right now I am not sure if I would go with a desktop or tower unit. Depends on how big either might be..
Can someone recommend a case and suitable motherboard for the following simple requirements..
Dual boot box..Windows and Linux..Preferably two harddrives
Mid level gaming box..some type of nvidia
I have been looking at something like the Antec Aria that takes baby ATX boards, but that might be underpowered for what I am looking for. Also I am not sure if these are even made anymore.
The quieter the case the better!
While I am at it..what are your favorite online places for purchasing such equipment!
Thanks for any suggestions..
Dan
