I shut down two computers on a two computer network yesterday to fix a light fixture, and have not been able to connect since. No ping. Samba protocol. Two NICs on each machine -- one for connection to Internet router, and the other for the LAN, connected to an old, but reliable hub. Both computers seem to think the LAN NIC is OK. The ethernet connection lights are on on the hub. Both are accessing the router fine. Any suggestions for tools to use to diagnose the problem? -- _____________________________________________________________ Art Alexion Arthur S.
