If you want a hackable router, the OpenWRT project maintains a list of
supported hardware. http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Hardware

My current favorite router is the Buffalo WHR-G54S. It is hackable and
absurdly cheap. $40 in many stores.

I just recently changed from the WRT54G to a 54GS. My only reason for doing so was the need for more filesystem space. The G offers 4MB (in the older versions), while the GS has 8MB available. Nicer for those nifty openwrt things you'll be wanting to try.. ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
