[PLUG] moving from iTunes to Amarok

As much as i enjoy itunes, now that i got sound working on my computer its really the last reason i even use windows at all on the machine. Has anyone here converted their itunes music into a format acceptable for Amarok? It appears that all my files are stored in M4a format. I don't want to be stuck on using Apple's software to play the music i payed for. TIA
