-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm encountering basically the same problem as outlined here: http://www.cups.org/newsgroups.php?s1+gcups.development+v1+T0+QPJL In my case I have a Brother HL-5140 connected to a server running Ubuntu 6.06 and CUPS. I've configured the 5140 successfully on the server and can print a test page from the CUPS web interface on the server as expected. Now from my laptop (one of several remote clients connecting to this server), also running Ubuntu 6.06, I've configured the 5140 using the exact same driver and print options, but with connect URL set appropriately. When I attempt to print a test page from my laptop, the only output I get is PJL commands printed on one page from the printer. No other pages are printed, nothing even remotely appearing to be a test page. Any ideas? - -- Darian Anthony Patrick Principal, Application Development Criticode LLC (215) 240-6566 Office (866) 789-2992 Facsimile Web: http://criticode.com Email: darian@criticode.com JID: darian@jabber.criticode.net -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFuPweKpzEXPWA4IcRAi8oAJ95coURfrASgCZqhFAIl5cHEB8gVQCfSXB0 ASrvG8NzWSy7WNGifTcDbSs= =ET5O -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
