[PLUG] Log IPs connecting to webserver

Sorry if this question is below standard list complexity but I’m very new to linux and google isn’t treating me well today L

I have a server running Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 and apache 2.0.52, I want to see what IP addresses are connecting to my web server. From what I can tell, Apache does log this. What I need to know is, do I need to enable this level of logging or is it on by default and where are the log files stored?

Thanks for the help.
