In Saturday's mail, I got 2 coupons from Dell... $100 off a select
group of systems:

www.dell.com/smb/CoolSavings1

While none of them are the Ubuntu boxes, there are still some decent
deals to be had. Those prices are before the extra $100 off.

The 2nd code is for 10% off "Most Enterprise Systems". Notably
excluded is some removable 40GB drive. That's the only specific
exclusion though.

The codes can only be used once, so it's first-come, first-served.
Please mail me *off list* if you're interested. If you're the first,
you get the magic code.

I neither work for Dell, nor am I asking for any $$ for the codes. I
just thought it would be nice if they didn't go to waste, since I'm
sure *someone* on this list is in the market for some gear.

My job issued me one of those Latitude D630 systems, and it does run
Ubuntu most nicely. $899 after the extra $100 makes it a nice deal
(though mine has an Nvidia chipset, rather than the Intel one used in
the model they're hawking on that page). Of course, YMMV, HTH, HAND,
bye.
