Sorry I'm not thinking today.

Mike,

Has the cisco switch been spoken for? I'll be in conshohocken visiting a
friend tommorrow night around 8pm and wouldn't mind taking it off your
hands. I'm just getting into "advanced" networking and I need something
to toy with at home instead of using the switches here at work.

Thanks,
Brian

Subject: [PLUG] Free to good home: Various networking bits

I have a bunch of various networking bits I'm trying to find new homes
for in preparation for my upcoming move. All available for pickup in
Conshohocken. If you're interested, drop me a private email with your
phone number. The items include:

External BAT TI CSU/DSUs; may or may not have power supplies.

	External 56k CSU/DSUs.

Cisco v.35 serial cables, for connecting devices such as a 2501
	to an external CSU/DSU.

Numerous fiber jumpers of various lengths, terminated with SC
	connectors. Some multi-mode, some single-mode.

A spool of unterminated multi-mode fiber.

	A couple Cisco 1000BASE-SX GBICs.

A blank for a Cisco 7500 VIP slot.

A somewhat-working Cisco 2924 switch. Some of the ports are
known
to be bad, and some of its fans have been cannibalized. But, if
you have a couple small fans to replace them with and don't need
all 24 ports, it might be useful to you.

(With the exception of the 2924, generally speaking these items aren't
suitable for home use. If you don't have other gear to use them with,
they probably aren't for you.)

Thanks,
-mct
