I'd be honored.  Hell, I might even let you borrow my bit bucket.

Funny you should ask though;  I recently googled myself, and found that other people on this list have quoted me.  I don't know if it's because I'm funny or because I sound like a total moron, but it's a compliment nonetheless.

Hey!  For those of us who try to fool our friends into wiping their hard drives, that new version of dd is quite useful!  Why, back in my day, there was no /dev/null.  There was a bit bucket under your box.  Any you had to empty it.  By hand.  Every day.

Now git off my lawn!

HAHAHAHA

or a "special" release of dd
instead of copying data, it just throws it all to of=/dev/null!

If you're going to keep the statement accurate, they're making it go to 3.

I read a few comments on this, which illustrated the religious
fanaticism some have for their OSes.  People were UPSET and said this
shouldn't be done.

I'm just flummoxed about WHY anyone would do this.  It's like
alcohol-free beer: all that great beer taste without the alcohol.

New Ammonia Light: all that great ammonia smell with none of the
cleaning ability.

Vista: even PRETTIER than XP, without all the speed.
If you thought you couldn't find something in XP.....

We removed all the caffeine from Jolt, so now you just get that pure
Jolt taste!

Next from MS: Reproductive Intercourse.  Guaranteed conception without
all the guilt and pleasure of regular intercourse.
