I suspect Apple and/or ATT don't want people playing with the really cool parts, such as the software radio and CoreAudio (e.g. for ZRTP voice encryption). personally I'd like GAN/UMA support with the iPhone's 802.11 so it can be used with T-Mobile's "Hotspot@Home" service. (seriously, what marketing team failed to realize that practically everyone who uses a Mac also uses T-Mobile? it's as strong of a correlation as "men who watch anime also watch star trek".) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generic_Access_Network http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZRTP ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
