But "mpgjoin" is not a package, it's a symplink created by the mpgtx
package I did find and use...
$ date

$ cat /etc/lsb-release
DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_RELEASE=7.10
DISTRIB_CODENAME=gutsy
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 7.10"
$ apt-cache show mpgjoin

$ ll $(type -p mpgjoin)
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 5 2007-11-05 15:35 /usr/bin/mpgjoin -> mpgtx
$ dpkg-query --search /usr/bin/mpgjoin
mpgtx: /usr/bin/mpgjoin

Microsoft has single-handedly nullified Moore's Law.
Innate design flaws of Windows make a personal firewall, anti-virus
and anti-malware software mandatory. The resulting software arms race
has effectively flattened Moore's Law on hardware running Windows.
