So I just installed emacs 22 to give it a try. I haven't done much testing with it yet, but there's one new "feature" that already find very annoying. In emacs 22 every time you open a file (for instance, when writing this email), it displays a splash screen until you press a key. In emacs 21 it only displayed that screen if you started emacs without specifying an initial file to open. Does anyone know how to restore the old behavior? Walt Attachment:
