UAV's use terrain mapping, satellite control as well as inertial guidance, not to mention human control. They are much more sophisticated . I would think that this would be more of concern to US Defense than the other way around. The reason I posted it however, was that it looks like a cool project for people who want to do something cool with their kids. Or if you don't have kids and are into RCM plus OSS you could know bring the 2 together. Get them outside and away from the terminal/video games while doing something really cool.
