Shame on me. I built a PC to spec for someone without getting $$ up front. He bailed on me, leaving me with a PC that I don't need. Here's the short list of specs: Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi AP Motherboard - (4 x rear USB2, 2xfront USB2, 1 rear firewire 400, 1 front firewire 400, 2 x 10/100/1000 Ethernet, 6 SATA-II, 4 DDR2 slots, etc.) - if you really want the gory details on this board: http://usa.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=11&l3=307&l4=0&model=1179&modelmenu=1 CPU as installed is a Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.4 Ghz Conroe Core, supports x64 instructions & hw-based virtualization) 2 GB DDR2-5300 RAM 160 SATA-II drive ATI Radeon x1950 Pro (256MB version) - works with newer fglrx drivers that provide AIGLX for Compiz on-board Intel HDA audio bus built-in wifi (implemented via a USB bus onboard, Linux sees it - I believe it's a Realtek chipset, 802.11g) Includes USB keyboard & mouse (both Microsoft) I'll gladly install your choice of Ubuntu Feisty/Gutsy, Fedora Core 8, Mint 4.0 or OpenSuSE 10.3 (you pick, x86 or x64), or leave the fun for you. I really need to get this thing out of here, so bring your offer. System is currently located at my house in Marlton, but I'm willing to travel a reasonable distance to meet up with a buyer. And learn from me, repeat, "I won't build spec systems without money up front. I won't build spec systems without money up front." --j ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
