I found the following book to be a very good read. The examples are well done - simple and to the point. "An Introduction to GCC for the GNU Compilers gcc and g++" by Brian Gough. (2004). You can download the PDF version at the link below: http://ftp1.sourceforge.net/souptonuts/gccintro.pdf Network Theory put out these books under the GNU Free Documentation license, with part of the purchase price used to raise money for improving and creating more free software. The printed version can be purchased through Amazon. If the link above doesn't work, try the following: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=79320&package_id=256696 Regards, Mike Chirico ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
