Re: [PLUG] server problem

Simple solution, replace the box:

http://cgi.ebay.com/COMPAQ-PROLIANT-6400-2xPIII-XEON-550-1GB-3x-9-1GB-PROL_W0QQitemZ170212658355QQihZ007QQcategoryZ11175QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247
http://cgi.ebay.com/COMPAQ-PROLIANT-6400-SERVER-PROLIANT6400_W0QQitemZ250239353023QQihZ015QQcategoryZ11175QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247
(Ebay listings for the same server for < $700).

Of course, I prefer dell machines:

http://cgi.ebay.com/DELL-POWEREDGE-6400-server-4-xeon-processors-2gig-ram_W0QQitemZ320244633920QQihZ011QQcategoryZ51215QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Poweredge 6300, 6350, 6400, 6450 are all similar in vintage and are more
readily available as after market machines. The Dell's originally shipped
with redhat or windows.
