Re: [PLUG] Remote Control of Windows Vista

What about using a built-in utility?   I could check for one since we ended up with Vista.

The easiest way to find out if the uvnc server is running on computer is
have him open up a viewer and try and connect to local host on the ports you
believe the uvnc server is running on. Also, what kind of
authentication/encryption did you setup as they both need to be the same on
both ends. Or have him just open up a browser http://127.0.0.1:vnc-java-port
and see if he can connect locally. He should be requested to authenticate at
the point if the server is running on that computer. Don't have him
authenticate though otherwise he will get caught in that window infinite
mirror deal.
