There are a few of us that that believe, but the vast majority of
computer geeks are as you describe. The members of the Linux society
and the population as a whole are as you describe agnostic, a-religious,
and etc. Going to a church does not make you a Christian or a believer.

Jesus told Nicodemus, a member of the ruling class that he had to be
born again. (John 3) The pharisees were the religious leaders of Israel
and preachers!

Thus it is my contention that the Linux community mirrors the community
as a whole.
