I use ClamWin http://www.clamwin.com/ on my Windows machines. It's based on the GPL ClamAV engine. Note that is that it's not a resident engine to intercept viruses in real time. Rather, you schedule it to do scans for viruses present on disks or in memory. The upside of this is that it does not get in your way AT ALL. The downside is that it may not provide the level of protection that you want, especially on a machine used by kids. Greg -- Privileged/Confidential information may be contained in this message.
