I'm running Centos 5.x, everything was running just fine and today
I find out mysql is not running at all and I cannot start it as a
service.
Yesterday, yum updated the following:

So, obviously, MySQL cannot find a file called 'librt.so.1' even
though it's clearly there at:
/lib/librt.so.1
I can start mysql with:
mysqld_safe
but it refuses to run as a service
What do I need to do to repair:
service mysqld start
