Hello Users, ***Job Posting*** I am a Network Admin for a Construction Firm Out-of-State, and Linux User as well. I have a Construction Job that will be a year or so longer in Philly. The Job is for Tech support, On-Call and Troubleshooting for a Satellite Construction Office, as well as contact with me on progress and updates on the site. SUMMARY: The Computer Technician install and configures computer workstations and local area networks, operates them, monitors their performances, diagnoses and solves their problems. Workstations include Windows towers and laptops. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other related duties may be assigned. * Install and configure local area data communications networks which may carry data communications following organization standards. * Install, operate and maintain network services, routers, hubs, and other network devices following technical plans. * Resolve network communications problems to ensure user’s access to Internet/Email * Install or repair Windows computers with standardized applications and networking software, diagnosing and solving problems that develop in their operations. * Respond to user questions and explain the operation of network applications and equipment. * Assist in the maintenance of standards and documentation. * Perform other related duties as required. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: Pennsivanaia Driver’s License (required by the first day of service). OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Computer experience. Ability to apply knowledge of current technology and theory in the Computer field. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the Construction community. Ability to speak clearly and concisely both in oral and written communication. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all requirements and Company policies.
