You coulda knocked me over with a feather.
I remember a few versions of Windows speech recognition and they still
give me headaches.

Is it this good under the One True OS?
Which app is decent, if any?

Thanks and a very happy t-day to everyone.

P.S. Really enjoying the Droid.  I like the screen, my wife likes the
SHOES app :)

Agreed, my experience with Android voice recognition has been wonderful. Just last night, after watching the Muppet Movie with the kids, I asked "What was Gonzo". While I got several different possible paths of inquiry ( Gonzo Journalism, Gonzo Porn (whuzzat?), etc.), The point is that it got the question right, and just needed more information to get me where I wanted, which ended up being wikipedia, on Gonzo the Great's page :)

He's an alien, BTW.
