I like Starbucks, call me crazy. I'm a frequent user, have the discount card, and get access there, but I never use it, as I have Clear. Even when I use Clear, it's via Openvpn or SSH.
Regardless have fun, but shields up, wear a you know what, public access anything, nuff said. Remember, there are quite a few of those public access spots, in Philly and surrounding, setup my me, especially in bars. :-)
I would say be especially careful of public access in university areas. Lots of smart, clever, bored people there.
