I scan the linux-desktops Dell list from time to time and that was the concern there a couple of months ago. That said, why is Dell still selling notebooks with Ubuntu 9.04 when 9.10 has been out for 5 months and 10.04 will soon be released? I can see selling 8.04 because that is a long term supported release, but 9.04 has already gone through 11 of its 18 months of support. My employer is also a Dell shop and they have been on my sh*t list lately. I guess I am not in the mood for hearing anything positive about Dell these days. ;-) -- Art Alexion Attachment:
