[PLUG] Beagle indexing worth anything?

Hi folks,

For my deployed desktops, I've disabled beagle indexing in the past,
as none of the users seemed to care about it, and it really degraded
system performance when its indexing routine kicked off.

I'm preparing to deploy openSuSE 11.2, and I'm wondering if anybody
uses Beagle, and if it's gotten any better over the last couple of 
years.
