I read that article awhile ago. I believe the heat problem has been corrected and is noted on the site. I also read another writeup where a user is using it as a mail and web server with no apparent problems. I guess you can't expect it to be equiv. to a quad processor PC but it is 8 times or more faster than the 'turboed' NSLU2.
