[PLUG] Ubuntu 10.10 + event sounds 

The designers of Ubuntu 10.10 made the odd decision to remove the
ability to assign specific sounds to specific events- logging on +
off, emptying trash, etc. There is, however, a more limited sound
applet. Unfortunately, I somehow managed to change it so that I don't
even get the default sounds any more.

Any ideas how I could restore those?
