Thank you for your feedback.  Glad to see this is still not "just" my
problem :)

I do have to +1 JP's mention of Play On Linux - It has MANY titles, and
works fairly easily.  Haven't done all that much with it yet- but results so
far are somewhat promising :)

I'll be sure to post if I encounter any other wins in this arena.
