1) Oracle stinks and is an entirely endothermic proposition when it comes to Linux. 2) CentOS devs have assured the community that this won't affect their release procedures one bit. 3) This appears to have been a business decision, not a technical one, as many of RH's engineers were caught off-guard/ticked off.
