If you don't have the resources to invest in this kind of redundancy, I think the Comcast would be acceptable, as long as you don't mind that intermittent downtime. YMMV. I'm excited that the Fairmount area is getting FiOS, so watch for expansions of that service area, too.


Comcast does do fibre connections as well. You just need to ask nicely. (Pricey, though.)
