[PLUG] Finding grub |
Hi all, Not strictly a Linux question, but maybe someone else has run into this. I just added a SATA drive to a system running from a single IDE drive. I have now installed OSes on both the IDE drive and the SATA drive, but grub remains on the IDE drive. However now on boot I get a hard drive error message on boot, although keying enter then does bring up grub correctly. I have played with all of the boot order settings in the BIOS, which allows the selecting of hard drive order and drive type (floppy, CD/DVD, hard drive, network) order. However no setting I have found avoids the drive error message. I could I suppose move grub to the SATA drive, but it seems to me it should work as it is now configured. Any ideas?
