[PLUG] pdf Creator Library |
I'm still working on my web-based project management software (written as a series of python cgi scripts) The final piece is to create a report generator that will create fully formated pdf files. Now I'm looking for a open-source pdf creator that plays well with python. I'm looking at haru ( http://libharu.sourceforge.net/index.html ) and ReportLab's pdf Library ( http://www.reportlab.com/software/opensource/rl- toolkit/ ). Either of these will require a significant amount of education time for me in order to write the code I need. Has anybody used either of these packages, or have a suggestion for a good way to create pdfs from within python?
