[PLUG] Subtlety of the user, group, world permission model

At lunch today, I ran across two posts that stunned me. ÂIt appears
that I have been completely off base regarding a subtlety of the user,
group, world permission model.  Note that the subtlety noted in the
first page itself has a further subtlety noted at the end of the
second.
