Dave Fecak of the Philadelphia Area Java Users Group has extended an
invitation to PLUG for this month's meeting, where Eric S. Raymond will be
speaking.  Please note that if you are interested in attending, you'll need
to RSVP to Dave directly at his email address (see details below).  The
meeting will be held in King of Prussia, and you'll get the actual location
information once you've RSVP'd.

BE SURE TO MENTION IN YOUR RSVP TO DAVE THAT YOU ARE A PLUG MEMBER!  (You 
will not need to join the JUG to attend.)

I¹m pleased to announce the next meeting of the Philly JUG (marking the 12th
anniversary of the group), scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, April
18th in King of Prussia.  I fully expect that this meeting will fill to
capacity, as our speaker is the pioneering and leading open source
evangelist Eric "ESR" Raymond, and I am also inviting the local Linux group
(PLUG).  I will take RSVPs by email on a first come basis, and then once we
reach capacity I will create a waiting list.  You will be required to
"check in" at the door for this meeting, so please respect our rules and do
not bring any unauthorized guests as they will not be admitted.

As mentioned before, I¹m using Twitter (@fecak, my personal/professional
account) for occasional JUG feedback, and the LinkedIn group "Philadelphia
Area Java Users' Group" - we are NOT "Philadelphia Java Group".  That group
is not associated with Philly JUG.

RSVP POLICY - As always, RSVP is REQUIRED FOR ALL JUG EVENTS IF YOU PLAN TO
ATTEND (an e-mail response to me will suffice).  NO REGRETS NECESSARY.  IF

The meeting details...

The next meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 18th at 6:30 PM (7:15
presentation start) in King of Prussia (address will be sent to confirmed
attendees after RSVP).  This month marks the 12th anniversary of the JUG¹s
founding (by me and Dr. Lewis), and subsequently my 12th year as the
JUGmaster.  Thanks for all the help over the years!

Our co-sponsors for this meeting are independent consultants Brian Clapper
(www.ardentex.com) and Rich Costine (www.zekelogix.com), and Fecak Inc
(www.fecak.com). 

The speaker for this meeting is Eric S. Raymond, sometimes known as ?ESR¹.
Eric is probably best known as the author of ³The Cathedral and The Bazaar²
and a pioneer of the open source software movement.
