[PLUG] pflogsumm: log reports for Postfix

I forgot to mention this the other week after Julian's Postfix preso. There is a nifty Perl script called pflogsumm in the Debian repos. Install that package, then either grab one of the cron examples:
	/usr/share/doc/pflogsumm/examples/cron.*

Or copy mine:
45 02 * * * /usr/sbin/pflogsumm -d yesterday --problems_first -q -h 0 -u 0 --no_no_msg_size --ignore_case /var/log/mail.log

And you will get a periodic email (I like daily) about your Postfix activity. If you have more than 1-2 users you may want to omit the "-h 0 -u 0" parts.

Very cool for keeping an eye on your Postfix server.

And quite insane levels of Spam being blocked lately. From my 2013-02-21 report:
	blocked using zen.spamhaus.org (total: 431)
Helo command rejected: Invalid name (total: 1)
Helo command rejected: need fully-qualified hostname (total: 9)
Recipient address rejected: Access denied (total: 5)
Sender address rejected: Domain not found (total: 1)

That's 431 in 1 day for my dinky little server. That is usually more like <=30.

Later,
JP

"Microsoft Tax" = the additional hardware & yearly fees for the add-on
software required to protect Windows from its own poorly designed and
implemented self, while the overhead incidentally flattens Moore's Law.
