[PLUG] Drive mapping on Endian Firewall VPN |
Hi all, Not entirely Linux related, but I just spun up an Endian firewall. First time using it, but I found it overall quite easy to configure. The most recent change I made was to add VPN access. I have managed to connect via the VPN successfully with OpenVPN GUI client on Windows, so the VPN connection itself seems to be working. What I am having difficulty with is mapping a network drive, again so far just trying with Windows (external Windows machine to internal Windows machine) . I realize that local DNS names may not be recognized, but I am not able to map by IP address either, even though I can successfully ping the desired computer over the VPN. Has anyone done this with Endian that might know the secret to drive mapping over VPN? Thanks, Eric ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
