you also apparently missed the "Pretend ice cream stores gave away free
milkshakes.". the model is internally consistent and a good summation
model of the issue at hand. *which is exactly what an analogy is
supposed to do*- it introduces the core
concept/issue/conundrum/situation/what have you in a broken down and
simple matter.
