Re: [PLUG] Disposing of old servers |
North and West are both convenient for me.
Rich,
Is September North or West PLUG meetings convenient?
Regards,
Eric
If you're amenable, dump them all on me, I can diagnose/cross-cannibalize and get one working machine each to Chris and Anthony, parts permitting.

Steve,
I am almost next door to OJR high school which usually has a drive every year, but those type are now specifically exempting business class electronics such as servers.

Check with your local township/government. I know even Whole Foods Market occasionally has e-waste recycling collection events.
Hi all,
In complying with Pa. ‘s e-waste requirements, I have five HP DL380 2U servers I would like to recycle / dispose of. I don’t think places like Staples or Best Buy will take them. Anyone know of an inexpensive way of disposing of them? AFAIK, they are all still work, but have been unused for several years.
Thanks,
Eric
