[PLUG] varnish vs. trafficserver for reverse proxy for Apache/wordpress

Does anyone have experience comparing varnish, trafficserver, the proxy
built-into Apache or other reverse proxies to provide web acceleration
for multiple sites on a local Apache/wordpress system?

This 2014 report
https://www.slideshare.net/bryan_call/choosing-a-proxy-server-apachecon-2014

and this 2016 report
https://www.bizety.com/2016/01/07/nginx-vs-varnish-vs-apache-traffic-server-high-level-comparison/

are leading me to varnish. Why should I consider something else?
