If you use a computer, you probably do something that revision control can help with.  If you are a system administrator or scripter, you *should* be using a revision control tool.  But which one?  Git unquestionably won the war, and also...Github and GitLab.  But is Git the right tool for you?

I'm going to update and tweak some things between now and next week, but basic spoiler alert: https://www.jpsdomain.org/public/Revision_Control_for_the_Rest_of_Us.pdf.
