Actually, that *has* been brought up on this list before. It is a little disconcerting to think that all your personal information "sent securely" over the internet will become public knowledge in 10-20 years. Or if not exactly public knowledge, at least known to the corporations and agencies slurping it all up today in preparation for the day when they can read it.
