[PLUG] Looking for aid: my son’s school needs help with a computer lab!

Hi everyone I am looking for some help in getting a computer lab setup at my son's school. The school is called Project Learn ( and is a nonprofit independent cooperative school in the Mt Airy section of Philadelphia. It is run and financed exclusively by parents and the community. It’s been around for 48 years and has never had a dedicated technology lab/curriculum, and due to budget constraints, we have to look outside the school community for funding. My goal is to get a lab with 6 workstations setup so we can have an introduction to programming class, with an introduction to using Linux and an explanation of Open Source, as part of our summer camp program. This will lead to a weekly or bi-weekly class on Saturdays that will cover Linux, Programming, and other IT topics with a focus on Open Source. The plan is to have 6 workstations setup (either actual desktops running Linux or Raspberry Pis).

Each workstation needs the following:

We’d be very grateful if you could donate any of the needed hardware (I can pick up any hardware) or make a tax-deductible donation.

Please contact me off list if you want to help.
