This morning I was perusing the qresearch board on 8ch.net and found this link from an anon who discovered that his laptop battery has a boot key logger built in it.

I've found laptop batteries have boot time power-based 'keyloggers' only because when trying to decrypt my encrypted harddrive at boot-time, the password entry 'goes funny' (constant 'failures' to enter the password) whenever I'm off mains power (mains power would disrupt the power supply, so there's no way for it to tell)

With the battery removed and on mains power, no such issue. Wouldn't have discovered this if I didn't up my game. Mysteriously researchers have found a way to backdoor smartphone batteries only just recently. HMMMMM.
