Re: [PLUG] Code Shelter |
They should adopt RTG (http://rtg.sourceforge.net) - a great database-backed bandwidth monitoring tool, real-time data polling stored in Mysql, great for 95th percentile, etc.,. Its been abandoned many times, but mostly still sort of works, last time touched was 2007-ish. It was re-started as RTG2 but then that project died around 2014. It really is a great “free” light weight bandwidth monitoring and reporting tool. -John > On Dec 20, 2018, at 10:17 PM, JP Vossen <jp@jpsdomain.org> wrote: > > This sounds like a great idea and right up the PLUG alley. > > The blog: https://www.stavros.io/posts/towards-more-collaborative-oss-model/ > > https://www.codeshelter.co/ > Code Shelter is a collective of volunteer software developers that aims to help with maintaining popular open source projects whose authors need a hand or don't have the time to maintain them any more. > [...read more...] > > Full disclosure: I used to work with Stavros. > > Later, > JP > -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- > JP Vossen, CISSP | http://www.jpsdomain.org/ | http://bashcookbook.com/ > ___________________________________________________________________________ > Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org > Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce > General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
