No it’s because I use multiple sound input/output devices to create audio or record audio.

It isn’t smart enough to detect when a headset or speaker is being used when switching input or output, I.e. plugging in headphones 🎧 or microphone.

I help support about a thousand Windows 7 and Windows 10 PCs, and Windows Server versions at work, and none of them have those kinds of audio problems that require constant reboots.

So I hate to say it, but it might be mostly user error, due to unfamiliarity with the OS. Although I suppose it could be hardware or driver related.
