When I see Dell and virtual machines in the same sentence I think VMware and yup, looking at the article it's ESXi under the hood. I guess they feel like they need to do this to keep up with KVM on Synology or bhyve on FreeNAS.

If you're on a tight budget and don't feel like paying the VMware tax, or just want check out life on the other (KVM) side of the virtualization fence, stop by my Proxmox virtual PLUG North later this month (or stop by again in Jeff's case since IIRC, he was one of the few people able to make it thru the sleet to PLUG West in December and I've made edits since then...)
