Walt, I'd argue that's just "The Register's" style. After all, their tag-line is "Biting the hand the feeds IT" and they are pretty equal-opp insulters. :-)

Did you notice the part about "...build 19645 for Fast Ring Windows Insiders also added nested virtualization for AMD hardware..."? I forget the details, but could that have been part of your nested virt problem?
